How old is yami bakura

Obtaining the Millennium Ring. When Bakura was a child, his father had bought the Millennium Ring, and gave it to him. Unbeknownst to them, the Ring contained Yami Bakura, an ancient and malignant spirit.

Bakura in Duelist Kingdom. Bakura somehow bypasses security and boards the ship to Duelist Kingdom despite not being selected by Maximillion Pegasus to be an official Duelist in the tournament.

He spends some time with them and they all discuss what their favorite Duel Monsters cards are. Bakura reveals his favorite card to be "Change of Heart". Yugi and Bakura agree to a Duel with Yugi's Deck including his friends' favorite cards. Yami Bakura traps Yugi, his friends and the normal Bakura into their favorite Duel Monster cards, leaving Yami Yugi to save his friends lives this is the anime's outlook on the first series anime and manga's Monster World RPG story arc.

Bakura asks Yugi to kill him, as he cannot bear to be controlled by the evil spirit inside his ring. After the incident, Bakura accompanies the group as Yugi and Joey continue to battle through the tournament. Bakura's ring helps them escape from a cave. Pegasus finds them and traps them in a vision of Ancient Egypt, but Yami Bakura helps them escape.

They return to their beds thinking it was a dream. After a confrontation between the two, Tristan figures out that Bakura being is controlled by an evil spirit in his Millennium Ring, so Tristan throws it out of a window.

Yami Bakura takes over and uses his Ring to track down the Puzzle. Yami Bakura tries to break Marik's control over Keith, sending Keith on a rampage where he breaks the Millennium Puzzle.

The normal Bakura takes over and knocks Keith back to rescue Yugi. Yami Bakura seals a fragment of his soul into a piece of the Millennium Puzzle without Yugi's knowledge. Bakura doesn't know how he got the injury, but Marik helps him out, winning the trust of Yugi's friends.

Bakura shortly after he is stabbed. Bakura is taken to hospital by Solomon Muto. While recovering in hospital, Yami Bakura takes over and escapes by overpowering Solomon. He acquires a Duel Disk and the required number of Locator Cards to enter the finals. Bakura arrives at the quarterfinals, seemingly unaware of his injury.

He ignores everyone's protests that he isn't well enough to Duel and boards Kaiba Craft 3 where the Duels are taking place. However, Yami Bakura cornered his host and said that the Millennium Items were in possession of only three individuals. Yami Bakura had to find the eight key, the secret of which was hidden somewhere in the Nameless Pharaoh 's world of memories.

As he possessed Bakura, Yami Bakura claimed that the doors of the nameless Pharaoh's memory opened and the Ultimate Shadow Game would begin. He took the Millennium Ring back when Rex Raptor and Weevil Underwood were trying to steal the Egyptian God Cards but mistakenly also took several Millennium Items , knocking the two out temporarily sending them to the Shadow Realm in the dub. However, Bakura kept the Millennium Ring, as he wasn't ready to part with his own Millennium Item yet.

But Yami Bakura merely responded that they were souls sealed in an Millennium Item; Yami Bakura didn't know much more than that albeit much more than Yami Yugi did about being a king. Nevertheless, Yami Yugi accepted Yami Bakura's challenge. Yami Bakura departed by saying that it began once the Memory World 's doors open. He used " Diabound Kernel " which almost defeated Seto, giving his monster the power that could rival the Egyptian Gods.

But when the sun began to rise, Yami Bakura left before they could finish their Duel. With his real purpose to gain the power to stand up to the Egyptian Gods accomplished, Yami Bakura mocked Kaiba before leaving the Duel inconclusive. Yami Bakura later arrived in Egypt and entered the Memory World via the Tablet of Lost Memories alongside Yami Yugi, reuniting himself with the original fragment inside the Millennium Puzzle and being complete. Although he initially didn't seem to care, his ancient counterpart's anger would sometimes motivate his actions as Thief King Bakura had a series of fights with the Pharaoh and the priests.

At the RPG table, Yami Bakura used three Hourglass Tokens ; the first was to reverse time after Yugi's friends' presence altered the reality's normal flow of events, the second to freeze time for seven Millennium Items to be gathered together, and the third in Zorc's resurrection. Meanwhile, another fragment possessed Tristan Taylor and acted as a spy after Yugi's friends got into the Millennium World.

To prevent the revelation of the Pharaoh's true name, the clone eventually revealed himself and challenges Yugi to a Shadow Game Duel. He ultimately reduced Yugi to one card but that card turned out to be " Gandora the Dragon of Destruction " which destroyed Bakura's cards and his strategy. When Zorc was ultimately killed by the Egyptian Gods' divine fusion , the Millennium Ring's malevolent spirit was fused with Zorc thus also vanishing at last, Finally bringing his reign of terror to an end and freeing Ryo Bakura from his possession forever.

His Decks often employ lockdown strategies while concurrently disrupting and stunning his opponent from employing their strategic moves while trying to either instantly win through activating his " Destiny Board " by fueling his Graveyard through Deck thinning Fiend-Type monsters, or through using the " Cursed Twin Dolls " and " Goblin Zombie " to mill his opponent Decks.

Yami Bakura makes use of lower level Fiend-Type monsters such as " Headless Knight " and " The Gross Ghost of Fled Dreams " to bait opponents into attacking them for fueling his Graveyard with Fiend monsters in order to Summon his signature card " Dark Necrofear " and activate its effect to bring out " Dark Sanctuary ".

He also employs the use of the effects of his monsters, Spells, and Traps to turn his opponent's attacks against them such as using "Dark Necrofear" to control his opponents' monsters, limiting his opponents' attacks with " The Dark Door " or " Narrow Corridor ", or crippling his opponents' Life Points when using cards like "Dark Sanctuary" and " Zoma the Spirit ". It seems that his Deck was built by Bakura , and its monsters have a Role-playing games theme such as "Morphing Jar" being a mimic and Zorc's effect requiring to throw a dice like in RP.

He searches for all the other Millennium items. Although the purpose is unknown, it's obvious that the intent is pure evil. Atem and his priests defeated Thief King Bakura and Atem sealed his soul within the Ring, hoping to keep him from causing more trouble. He had no idea that a part of Zorc's spirit was also in the Ring and he had just condemned the thief to three thousand years of being fused with the personification of the darkness itself.

In the modern era, James Bakura found the Millennium Ring and brought it home for his son Ryou Bakura, not knowing of the fused being within it. While Zorc could never feel kindness or compassion for anyone, Thief King Bakura found a spark of light after millennia of darkness and began to gradually come to care about his modern descendant. He was protective on occasion, such as when Bakura was bullied, and it was he who put Bakura to sleep whenever he and Zorc were taking over, not wanting him to see what they were doing and be horrified, his innocence tainted.

As the final arc of Zorc's plot was put into motion, Thief King Bakura had become so deeply poisoned by the portion of Zorc's spirit in the Ring that at times he believed he really was Zorc.

This caused Atem to believe that Yami Bakura was only Zorc and he destroyed Zorc without hesitation because of that. Upon Zorc's destruction, Thief King Bakura was pulled free of him at last and sent to wait at one of the gates of the afterlife for judgment.

Atem encountered him there and felt prompted to send him back, although he couldn't imagine why and neither could the thief. He found himself in Ryou Bakura's room, torn and tattered from being pulled from Zorc, and undergoing an identity crisis.

Who was he? Not Zorc, but was he the Thief King any longer? His spirit was seriously damaged and fading into the darkness, but Ryou Bakura awoke, horrified, and wanted to help him. A desperate prayer brought Shadi and a mysterious angel, who delivered the Infinity Ring and told him that the thief would be granted physical form by the Ring and the chance to earn a second chance if he trained to take part in an upcoming conflict and fight for the side of good.

Thief King Bakura scoffed at the very idea that he could ever be good, but he wasn't about to turn down the chance to live. He and Bakura had problems getting along, understandably, but over the course of their adventures they found and accepted that they care deeply about each other.

They have bonded as few others have, and their bond is stronger for all the heartache and pain on the road to it. Since they both answer to the name Bakura, Ryou Bakura still opts to call him Yami Bakura, a name given to him by Joey, and he's fine with that. Yugi and the others struggled with trusting him for quite some time, but they have finally found reason to extend trust and have been coming to care about him. By now, they all feel that he is one of them and their friend.

Bizarrely, cats seem attracted to him, something he can't for the life of him understand. No matter how he might scream and yell and insist that he's a dangerous person, the cats pay no attention. It was on an occasion when six cats were mobbing him that the family cat Oreo was discovered and adopted, as she was the only one without an owner. Personality: Yami Bakura is highly sarcastic, grumpy, and self-weary.

He recognizes that he did countless horrible things and is insistent that he is not a good person.
