The site started off very good. Majority of the users where friendly and peaceful. They had good connections with Myspace before Myspace died off. VIP was the best. Classic did pretty good. Then Meez took a big hit and slipped into depression. Users begain to leave because of "Unfair Bans" and cyber bullying. And they removed classic and made BETA meez. Then users who are over 18 took over the site and made it worse to communicate with other users.

Theres also lots of drama and fighting on meez now. And the ignorance had spread through out the site. And you can get "Infractions" Banned if you slip up and say something or do something 'Against the meez guidelines. People can be mean on that site so, if you're sensitive, stay away from this site. There's also trolls on the site that like to type mean a hurtful stuff about other users. And there's lots of hypocrites on the site. Meez was a good site while it lasted. You can catch a few friendly users on the site though.

So i don't think this is a good site for kids. Creating avatars is so much fun. You also get bullied if you're a "noob" So you need to spend real money to get the good stuff, and people to actually talk to you. This title contains: Language. Profanity is widespread, ranging from very minor curses, such as "Crap", and "Damn", to racial slurs and insults that I do not wish to relay to this website. In addition, there is also a music player within the majority of rooms. The music played is often very profane and revolves around sexual intercourse. You can meet so many people from around the world and customize yourself, room, and profile they way you want. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of privacy. They put your name, age, and more about you right out there like nothing! There was also a lot of sexual themes i didn't approve of and some very eroctic clothes and such.

You just need to know how to role play and how to not be influenced online and how to avoid any predators and such.

You need to know how to avoid uncomfortable or mature situations and themes. Use fake information so people won't search you or anything to that effect.

The parties in the backgrounds don't show real drinking. Yes, some of the backgrounds have scantily-clad avatars in them, and some of the items are somewhat revealing, but most of the items are for the most part moderate and tasteful, in my opinion.

And kids are not the only ones on Meez. There are some pregnant, grown women who like avatars. I fail to see how a pregnant body type is inappropriate. The avatars are the most customizable I've seen in a long time.

Most sites' avatars are very pixellated and choppy, or you have to download software to create. Meez is download-free, meaning that you don't have to worry about compatibility as much, and you don't have to worry about viruses. Also, Meez is free, which is a rarity. Yes, they offer items that cost cash, and they have a new "VIP" feature that includes dance moves in the virtual world, special clothes and accessories, and extra features on the forums.

The cash-only items are fairly minimal, though, and the prices are, for the most part, very reasonable. Unfortunately, their tech team is somewhat slow when it comes to fixing glitches and bugs.

The site usually has at least one bug going around on it. The tech squad tries to help as much as possible, but the site is too large and the problems are too complicated to always be fixed in a timely manner. Many of the users are friendly, and there are very diverse groups of people on Meez, ranging from young teens that are ready to chat with you about anything ranging from school to food, artists and writers that like to share their work, and internet roleplayers that like to think up their own fantasies and stories to act out.

Yes, many people are immature on the site, moreso in the virtual world than in the forums. But for the most part, if one can get past the overuse of internet abbreviations, they can enjoy Meez quite a bit. The 'thug' girl makeup is just a stereotype. There are also Emo, Goth, and Scene stereotypes. You didn't mention if someone puts the 'emo hair' on their meez they're gonna cut themselves.
