Breezehome first wing where is the key

The total cost of the house including all upgrades is 6, gold, or 6, gold if you have Hearthfire installed and choose to forgo the alchemy laboratory in favor of a children's bedroom. If you are having trouble finding Proventus you can get a quest marker on him through a miscellaneous task given by his daughter Adrianne Avenicci , who can usually be found outside of Warmaiden's , just inside the gates to Whiterun.

If you have completed Dragon Rising , Lydia will be appointed as your housecarl and a small bedroom will be added upstairs for her. Her bedroom includes a dresser, an end table, a sack, and an owned bed. Once purchased, Proventus will provide a book, Whiterun Home Decorating Guide , which details the various house upgrades available from him.

Proventus will only sell upgrades while actually inside Dragonsreach. If he is on the Great Porch or his bedroom, the option to decorate your house will not be available. If the Stormcloaks take over Whiterun , Proventus will move to Solitude and no longer offer you any upgrades.

Instead, Brill will be able to sell you upgrades in Dragonsreach after that. I read that if you have a companion, then you might not have the option.

I ditched my companion, but I still don't have the option. I had a bounty in Solitude, but I paid that off and I don't think I have any other bounties on me at the moment. Any ideas? This is on a PS3 with the latest patch and super early in the game -- haven't really accomplished any of the real quests at this point or chosen sides in the civil war. Apperantly with the Dawnguard DLC installed you cannot buy the alchemy lab for Breezehome, I checked and it is true that you can purchase that upgrade with dawnguard uninstalled.

Anyone know of another way around it? Warrof , 1 July UTC. Today I experienced by first Breezehome furnishing dialog bug with Hearthfire and Dawnguard installed. I'm on my 6th character so I've owned a number of breezehomes before. The bug was that neither the alchemy lab or the bedroom could be bought. The dialog would be grayed, but money would not be taken and the furnishings would not appear.

The Childs bedroom option would not appear in dialog either. If you're experiencing this problem, The culprit was the load order. In between my Breezehome purchases, something had messed up the load order. I imagine that since both patches fix Proventus Avenicci's dialog in a different way by overwriting what's originally there, that only the latest in the load order remains as previous fixes are overwritten.

So, I became the Thane of Whiterun early in the gamer, purchased the house, got all the upgrades, all while Whiterun was controled by Balgruuf the Greater. Then, I took it for the Stormcloaks. I came back, and spoke to Vignar Grey-Beard. He offered for me to buy a house again, and to become the Thane, again. Anyone know why this happens?

Shouldn't he already acknowledge you as Thane, and not offer to sell you a house you already own? Schiffy talk , 28 September GMT.

I noticed in the options after I replaced the Alchemy Lab with a Kid's bedroom that you can revert back to the Lab for gold. This should be reflected in the article. Load the save outside Hideout, Enjoy. You will Need the key to the house to enter the Hideout hatch. The Basemant. ESM and Basemant. ESP have had their names changed to Hideout.

You may be able to unload your Hideout. You will not have to do this for future updates, This is a one time this for a major rehaul. Just installed it last night - finally a place worthy of the Dovahkiin! My only suggestion for when the CK comes out - make it either a quest which from your previous post looks to be very difficult or a GOLD sink!

This would give a lot of people out there something to spend their multitudes of gold on. You want a hideout, you say? Well, we hire some really powerful mages to open a portal to whatever plane of existence the hideout sits in, then we need to hire stone masons, carpenters, etc. That's gonna cost you X amount of your hard earned gold. You want more than the standard 5 mannequins - you gotta pay for them. You want more chests Oh, you want it in the Dwemer style?

Now we gotta hire a Dwemer Interior Decorator level 30 at least! That's gonna cost you big! I love the idea of custom books! Question, do I get to write my own story?
