Can i trust livingsocial

Do not purchase on this site. V Mc Grath. Should not be allowed to trade or advertise. Should have checked all the reviews online first. Wasn't a lot of money but its disgusting to think this can be done to people. Tip for consumers: Check reviews online and pay with paypal or something that leaves you with some way of recouping your money.

I am pretty upset as I've ordered a wrist support for my painful hand, waiting for that already from 19th of April. I was expecting to get it before or on 19th of May but it still didn't arrive. Today I've received an email with delivery status update saying it was delivered on 20th of May! I didn't get it at all! I am afraid it is just another scum, guys, better stay away from them! Stay away from this company, like others I have been charged for goods which have never arrived, even though I have been informed that they have.

Another item which did arrive is shoddy, badly made and minus the screws and rods necessary to build it. I also paid a lot of cash for garden furniture, which the company who makes it later informed me that they do not deliver to Ireland, there is no sign of Living Social repaying my money.

I have written and e-mailed Living Social and they just ignore everything. How can anyone get satisfaction from this terrible company, wish I knew! I am so mad that I cannot get my money back. I have rung, emailed etc and not one single reply from this company. Don't get caught like me! Very stressful! I cannot believe this company are uncontactable. DO NOT deal with this company. I having the worst experience ever! You are warned! Social living is an absolute disgrace I ordered a mattress 2 weeks before December and still I haven't had an email or anything regarding I tried to ring them on the phone numbers not working in Ireland I tried to email No customer service available and so do you tell me is this legit or not because this is ridiculous if not I want my money back.

Paid in full for a Garden Parasol, Ordered a black one which was due for delivery on or before the 4th of May, No Show!. Then got an email on 7th May to say they had no black in Stock and did I want a different colour?

No I dont think so!. Hopefully I will get my money back, never again! I have been using livingsocial for many years. Within the past 2 years I have had a few restaurants refuse to accept the certificate. I was issued a credit on the website but I am tired of buying certificates and credits online.

I called and the company refused to give credit back on my credit card. I would advise you to call the restaurant or vendor prior to purchasing to make sure they will accept the certificate. I've used Living Social for years and found some great local companies - who have earned ongoing business from me. You have to stay on top of the timing and deadlines. So fun to find things I wouldn't otherwise have tried. I bought this item from Living Social. Nowhere online have I seen it advertised at the full price.

In fact, when I received it, it turned out to not be as good as advertised. I no longer use it! There have also been other offers that have not come up to expectation. I used to use Living Social a lot more, but lately I feel like they could have some better deals, as least in my location. Usually the things that come up for my "area" are not very close. I was thankful for their Cirque du Soleil discount though, and I got to enjoy the show. Worst customer service between them and woucher who dont reply. Products faulty and they dont answer emails. Stay clear or you will loose your money. I can find the best deals in the nearby places on this site.

There are a lot of fun things to explore and discover. Waiting over 3Months for an order and today they issued me a credit refund without any explanation. Tried what's app and after two hours they reply with "our contact center is currently closed". Various email sent over the last few Months but no satisfaction. They are fraudsters sitting internationally completely having no physical existence all internet based and you can't complain to any one.

Stay away from these buggers. Have you contacted the customer service at Livingsocial. I have found them to be pretty responsive in the past. This is a seperate review site. There do seem to have been some financial problems with many of the deals from Living Social. But when I had a problem they answered the phone and it was dealt with quickly and the goods resent. Me too i bought a voucher for a necklace and not recieved any confirmation but the money has come out of my bank account.

I have bought from these before and never had this problem but i am worrying as i cant get through on the phone its dead! I will strongly advise that you don't buy anything whatsoever from this company especially if it is fulfilled by Wowcher.

They are the most unreliable company I've ever seen and I regret ever dealing with them. Do not purchase any services through LivingSocial. I purchased a voucher for gutter cleaning which the vendor then scheduled two weeks out. Two weeks comes and goes and they haven't shown up so I have to reach out to them to get them to reschedule. Of course, they don't show up for the second appointment either.

So I reach out to LivingSocial's customer service department to get a refund and they tell me that since it's outside of their 3-day window, they cannot issue a cash refund. Instead I have to use their internal credit to be applied to another deal. Fast forward a couple of months and the credit is still sitting in my account and I decide to apply it to having the house pressure washed.

Because pressure washing is more expensive than gutter cleaning I have to throw good money after bad and apply more cash. Pressure washing guy sets an appointment 2 weeks out, doesn't show, I have to track him down with 2 texts and 2 phone calls before I can get him to reschedule for the following Monday.

Monday comes and I call him to make sure he's still coming and of course by the end of the day my house is still not pressure washed. I reach back out to Living Social and get the same malarkey about 3-day windows and Living Social credits which are virtually worthless. The truly criminal thing is you cannot leave a vendor review if you have not redeemed a voucher for that vendor. Meaning there is no way to warn other users who may fall victim to the same scam. Other than that automated response initially received, a contact option was offered if there were questions.

The caveat was that to inquire about that product would have required LivingSocial acknowledgement option for that item. It was never offered. Only past purchases from months or years ago. No direct contact for my purchase was offered. After all research was done, no working phone or contact information was available. Only an automated message during normal hours of operation indicating there is no availability for any customer direct or indirect customer service.

No option to find out who the supplying vendor is or any direct recourse for the consumer other than going to your financial institution to dispute purchase or label as a fraudulent sale. I ended up very upset and stressed. Then the page changed and I could not complete the form. The whole thing turned into something other than a purchase with another website taking over. Who can advise how to go about reporting this site.

They seem to be connected to Wowcher, who advertise on telly. They are undoubtedly crooks. Now they are ignoring my emails. I strongly advice people not to buy a thing from this site! I've lost a lot of money because I cudnt get the voucher to load after trying about 50 times! So lost cash coz it expired!

Then second item didn't get delivered! I emailed later than I should have but have been poorly so didn't get round to getting intouch earlier! And the first email was ignored! And I'm out of pocket because I should of contacted them within 15 days! Well I will be deleting and will neva in my life buy from this site again! Don't be fooled by the offers! Rip off merchants!

I have ordered and paid for 3 items which I have not received I have emailed living social twice they told me the company will email me within 48 hours that was a week ago still nothing I have come to the conclusion Iv lost my well earned money I never thought to read the reviews wish I had of I'd never use this site again and I advice others not to use it either.

Avoid this deal site, better deals with Groupon or Wowcher. The LivingSocial site is really joke. Bought a voucher of massage before and the salon staff had totally unprofessional attitude to the clients and now I bought tarot card reading from Rachanaa Jain that instead of the tarot reading for you and your personal question, it contained only explanation of the cards which I could find online for free.

I only discovered this when attempting make a purchase. I received a standard response which didn't cover the issue. Having tried again the same unhelpful response was issued. By this time the 'credit' had expired. I asked if it could be reinstated. Guess what? Having wasted so much time with these 'push the standard response button' eejits I've cancelled my subscription.

At least I won't continue to be bombarded by twice daily offers. Good choice I'd say? Be aware before shopping with living social. They just persuading costumer to buy a deal when you paid the bill then it's show please allow 5days to delivery but unfortunately then the delivery is taking a long even month or mor. In my item isn't arrived since 15th August and still waiting for them.

I was bought a Geneva Luxary watch. Just loose my money. Not surprised. Spoke with. My cc account to stop payment but they can only pay up and then deal with it as if it's a dispute. This company are obviously crooks.

HI Iris, I'm in a similar situation to you. If the truth be told i think it is not uk held stock and is poss being sent from china as all directors are chinese. Last time i bought some razor cartridges they took a month and came from china but was not ef selling them.

I think a lot of chinese list on living social knowing they have no chance of matching the 7 working days delivery promise as it is not UK stock and needs to be and from abroad. I paid through paypal and have told living social if no camera delivered by mid day tomorrow I'm opening a dispute through paypal and asking for a full refund as i do not want the dashcam if it is not here for posting off to poland and will buy one for cash from maplins and post that off intead.
