Can you qss malz ult
It is not infrequent to see 4 or 5 QSS on a pro-team playing against Malzahar. Furthermore, QSS cannot be upgraded into a mage item, so many midlaners cannot make further use of the item later into the game. It becomes a dead slot in their inventory. This early gold purchase on the opposing midlane has a warping effect.
Malzahar is already difficult to push against, but when AP and mana is delayed g, it becomes almost impossible. Malzahar should lose strength due to the loss of his ult, but the reality is that the loss of g means the opposing laner loses a lost chapter of damage and mana. This loss compensates for the loss of Malzahar's ult damage. So in the 1v1, it is essentially an even trade: Malzahar loses ult damage, opposing mid loses AP damage, neither can kill each other.
The game is not 1v1 however. The g lost on the opposing mid means that his strength against other members of the enemy team is dramatically weakened. In a 2v2 mid lane after QSS is bought, Malzahar can still use ult on the enemy jungle. The opposing mid lane loses damage against both the enemy jungle and the Malzahar however. The g investment from mid, followed by other lanes, essentially slows the game down by g.
Once everyone has QSS, Malzahar is impotent, this is true. But by that time, he has stalled the game by around minutes of gold. It is not possible to cleanse Malz ult, and it is also better not to pop the summoner spell Cleanse because you need that against Amumu, Galio, Sona, etc.
Cleanse is a summoner spell which removes the effect of certain crowd control spells and makes it easier for the champion to escape. Quicksilver Sash is a summoner spell that removes the effect of most crowd control spells, with an exception for suppression abilities. He can be difficult to deal with , but there are lots of champions in League of Legends who counter him by dealing tons of damage early on and forcing Malzahar to use his defensive spells.
The first step in beating Malzahar is playing aggressively early on, meaning looking for opportunities to trade damage with him before he has time to build up any measure of defense. So the recommendation isnt wrong. Just out of context. I dont know if it was fixed but i was seeing it constantly recomended to me against yasuo even though his knock up is not blockable with mikael.
I can't tell how many times I got this item recommended against Yasuo and Alistar when they have airborne that can't be cleansed with it. Also yesterday I played the game vs malz as nocturne, and his ult ignored my edge of night.
Is that normal interaction? And if it is, why lol. His ult has two parts. For one the puddle under you and then the suppression. Maybe the puddle triggers edge of night? If that's the case that's one of the dumbest interactions in the game. Malz can easily proc EoN before ulting someone, this makes EoN worthless against him.
It is same with Syndra, Spellshields only take away one of the balls. There are other champions like that too. But that somewhat makes sense, because her ult is literally taking balls and throwing them. With malzahar it doesn't remove anything, you still take full dmg and you are suppressed for 2 seconds.
I mean I assume Spellshield does remove some damage from the ult, just not the suppression. I think Syndra stun might work like that were spellshield takes away the W damage but not the damage from the ball passing you and its stun. But I don't think this is true for Malz though. Because I think the suppression applies first.
Something that might happen, similar to Soraka or Viktor though is that since Malzahar is not interrupted he simply renews the Suppresion and only the first 0,25s of suppression are blocked by the shield. Sorakas silence field works like that in that it removes the spellshield and then just applies silence again. It is basically a target that first knocks the target down, then suppresses them and then places the field.
This means that a spellshield might also remove the knock down iE riots word for interrupting dashes. But my most likely guess is that he casted in fact E before the channel, because this is what Malz would do. I'm pretty sure you cannot precast 2 abilities and he already precasted R and flash ulted me, so his E couldn't go off I was barely in range when he flashed too so it was definitely precast R.
I also watched it in 0. R doesn't have a casttime. Another option is item interaction. Night Harvester as one example disables Malz passive without it actually reducing damage of the ability triggering it. Since the part of his R that suppress seems to happen a bit delayed which is sometimes visible if he uses it on fast moving targets which then appear off-center in the nullzone it could be an item on him that created an effect which was blocked by Spell Shield.
But then again Malz usually has Liandris and that item already can't be blocked. Well you said it yourself, E has cast time so it's impossible to press E and instantly R someone, since there's still small E cast time in between. He also didn't have anything unusual, just a normal Liandry build.
I might try it out with someone in custom games, because now I'm really curious about what happened. It's still good against Malzahar. You can't use it on yourself if you're supressed since supression doesn't let you do anything but you can use it on a team mate that gets supressed and it will remove that buff.
TBF, it just looks at winrates. It doesn't actually have any specific intelligence to say whether a given item is good versus a specific champion. What it's actually saying is: in games where this champion was present, building this item resulted in a winning game. If enough people built something completely stupid like deathcap on yasuo or something it would become a recommended item in the right situation.
Don't play league cuz you assumed something. Mikaels blessing being recommended as "strong vs malzahar" is a problem. Glomgore 16 points 8 months ago Glomgore 16 points 8 months ago. I think it was your wording in reply to the previous comment. The number of people who think one of these two things is crazy: and then from yours: Or that tanking baron makes you deal half damage and that standing behind baron deals more damage to you so it sounds like you were saying its crazy that people still think those things. Yeah pretty much the explanation given, I thought you implied they were false. GentlemenBehold 8 points 8 months ago GentlemenBehold 8 points 8 months ago.

You can have speed and quality, you just have to pay for it. BUT I think the stellar reputation that comes with stellar customer support would be the worthwhile investment Unfortunately not everyone is going for or values stellar reputation in customer support.

Urgot is forced to battle against Teemo in Urgot does a decent job of beating Teemo. On average, he wins a acceptable Urgot fights Nasus in Urgot has done a decent job of beating Nasus.
Normally, Urgot wins a acceptable Garen is actually a counter to Nasus due to his armor shred, not being reliant on autos, and the ability to remove withers slow, which is far and away the most dangerous part of it.
Kayle does a good job of countering Urgot.
